Our Chapter recently concluded an 8-week Mission United class this fall. With a generous grant from the Harry T. Mangurian, Jr. Foundation we have now had over 200 veterans participate in one or more of our programs that are held Spring, Summer and Fall.

The objective of Mission United is to provide a program to support United States military veterans and their families as they re-acclimate to civilian life. They focus on employment services, legal assistance, education, financial services, and health and housing support.

Coaches Steve Voguit and Nick Cupper led classes at Weston Hills Country Club. Coaches Darrell Welker, Duncan Smith and Dave McNulty lead Woodlands Country Club participants. A huge SHOUT OUT to program volunteer Mike Dobzinsky for his dedication to our program and local veterans.

Joe, a local retired U.S Army Colonel commented, “I would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season and Merry Christmas and especially thank Jack Bloomfield, Nick Cupper and Steve Voguit for their dedication, outstanding instruction and most important the caring and quality of services in dealing with veterans and children that I have observed. This is an organization with class and caring.”
